Oldford Communities First Partnership AGM

Thursday 17th December 2009 saw the Partnership’s annual general meeting held at Welshpool Town Hall.

Just over 50 people attended to hear presentations on some of the Partnership’s successes and highlights of 2009 including:

 

·                Welshpool Funday 2009

·                Severn Farm Pond Action Camp Project

·                Oldford Clear Up Days

·                New community support groups

·                And much more

There was also a presentation on what to look forward to in 2010 such as the launch of the Activ8 Time banking project, Pulse and Pulse 50+ fitness and healthy lifestyles programme, the Active Community group, and more.

The Partnership welcomed new members and appointed new officers. Richard Zimbler, community member became Chair, Jack Peatroy as Vice Chair, Hazel Gifford as Secretary and Phil Roe as Treasurer.

The Partnership also welcomed four new community members and new representation from First Clives Own Scout Group.

Everyone then sat down for afternoon tea and a good chat!
